The Princess to the Prince

It is rude, not charming

  To trespass my castle

  And steal kisses

  From unconscious maidens

  There's no one here

  As white as snow

  Or as red as blood

  And fairies have not visited

  For some time

  I know of no curses

  Or swans or ravens

  Or frogs who I owe

  My kisses

  No one bothers dragons

  The woods are clear

  There are no beasts here

  To steal roses from

  Vegetables are kept

  In the garden

  Not in my room

  Or my bed

  I do not eat fruits

  From strangers

  Hay is for the farm

  Not for spinning

  The shoe you brought

  Is too small

  I have never worn fur

  Or danced through the night

  I am quite happy where I am

  I may be a princess

  And you may be a prince

  But please

  Please

  Stop trying to rescue me

Geh... though I love fairy tales some of the stories just don't sit right with me with the damsels in distress and all the princesses having no spine. ><

Few facts some people don't know about fairy tales.... this part's probably not good for the children to know and there are many versions but these ones freak me out the most

Snow white's mum, not stepmum was the one with the mirror and the freaky obsession with beauty
Sleeping beauty didn't wake up because of a kiss.... no... she woke up to find the prince had "gifted" her with two children while she was unconscious
Also... Frog Prince needed more than a kiss...
WHAT IS UP WITH RUMPELSTILTSKIN!! The father who lies about the gold spinning daughter, the king who practically uses the girl as a slave to make him gold, the mother who promises her first born off the a strange little man... And he's the one who made the gold and NONE of them pay for it except the poor little man >< geh
